SAR Staff and the Hasty Team assisted Lyon County with a mutual aid request in the Dayton are for finding a gun in a canal. The search was successful.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and WCSAR responded to an area of the Truckee River near stateline on I80 to recover a drowning victim. A low-angle rope system was used to bring the deceased kayaker to a dirt road on the south side of the river for transport.

SAR Staff and the SVU responded to the Verdi side of the Henness Pass Rd. to locate a stuck vehicle with one subject. Teams were able to locate the subject at the coordinates provided through both dispatch and an IMT cell ping. The vehicle was left at the site and the subject was transported back to staging where he was able to get a ride home from a friend.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and Washoe County Sheriff Search and Recovery continued searching the area around the vehicle with negative results. The vehicle was removed from the lake.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and WCSAR assisted RFD and RPD with checking for any victims from a vehicle that was located in Virginia Lake at the north end. Nothing was located.
