SAR Staff, Hasty Team, RAVEN, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the Thomas Creek Trailhead to search for a missing 19yo hiker that became separated from his family while hiking the Dry Pond trail from Thomas Creek to Whites Creek. The young man was not familiar with the area. Teams began checking the Dry Pond Trail, and Whites Creek Trail, as well as being positioned at likely exit points on other local trails. The subject was located near the intersection of the Whites Creek Trail and Dry Pond Trail just before it got dark. Negative medical needs. 6/26/2018 – Upper Price Lake EMS

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, RAVEN, SVU, and WCSAR responded to multiple areas – Tahoe Meadows, Davis Creek Park, Franktown Rd. – to access Upper Price Lake on the report of two young adults and one juvenile having medical problems. RAVEN attempted to conduct a hoist, but winds prevented this tactic. Foot teams were sent down the Ophir Creek Trail from Tahoe Meadows, up the Ophir Creek Trail from Davis Creek Park, and ATV’s/UTV’s accessed the area through Little Valley. Foot teams arrived at the location and did an initial assessment. It was determined that the three subjects and two dogs should be tranpsorted by UTV’s down to staging where they were eventually released to a family member.
