7/24/21 – Relay Peak EMS

SAR Staff, Hasty BC, SVU, and WCSAR BC assisted TMFR with locating, packaging, and transporting a subject that was solo hiking a part of the Tahoe Rim Trail. The subject was experiencing hip pain and nausea. She was placed on a stokes and wheel and moved approximately 1.25 miles to a TMFR side x side that is configured to transport a stokes basket. The subject was then taken to staging and transferred to an ambulance.

7/17/21 – Thomas Creek EMS

SAR Staff, Hasty BC, and WCSAR BC assisted REMSA and TMFR with locating, packaging, and transporting a mountain bike rider who had crashed and suffered a lower leg injury.

7/11/21 – Garson Fire Evacuations

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, RAVEN, SVU, and WCSAR responded a parking lot at Boomtown for staging, in order to perform possible evacuation notices to the Belli Ranch area. With the use of multiple air assets, the fire was kept from spreading quicker than it could have. Although still burning, SAR assets were released for the night.

7/10/21 – Sugar Fire Evacuations, Day 2

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR again responded to the Rancho Haven Volunteer Fire House for staging to conduct fire evacuation notices for the same area as the previous evening. Evacuation orders had been lifted earlier in the day, but the fire made a late afternoon run toward the area.
