SAR Staff, Hasty BC, and WCSAR BC staged at the upper Galena Creek parking lot to locate two individuals near Church’s Pond that were having a medical episode. The subjects were located, treated, and escorted down to staging.

SAR Staff, Hasty BC, SVU, and WCSAR BC responded to the Mt. Rose Summit parking lot to locate an injured hiker near Mt. Rose peak. As initial teams were deploying, Care Flight was able to land and transport the subject.

SAR Staff, a Hasty Team medic, and the SVU staged in the Somersett area to locate a vehicle with three subjects that were in danger of sliding off the road, down into a ravine. The subjects were located and transported to staging.

SAR Staff, a Hasty Medic, and the SVU staged on East Lake Blvd toward the south end of Washoe Lake to locate a stranded and very lost subject. When SAR personnel arrived at the location, the subject had got himself unstuck, but not being from the area, was very lost and unsure how to get to pavement. He was guided down to staging, then directed to Interstate 580.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to a location in Verdi where a vehicle had been located, submerged up to the middle of its’ windshield. It was determined by TMFR that it was not occupied, but SAR was requested to assist with the extrication of the vehicle with a tow truck.
