6/30/20 – Hoge Rd. EMS

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the dirt extension of Hoge Rd. locate, stabilize, and transport an injured mountain-biker. As teams were being deployed, a Hasty truck came across the subject walking down the road with the help of another mountain-biker. The gentleman was put into the Hasty truck and the person who was assisting him was given a ride in a SVU side x side back to staging. The subject was handed over to REMSA.

6/23/20 – Hiker EMS

SAR Staff, Hasty BC, and WCSAR BC were requested to respond to Allison Way in Incline Village to locate a hiker that had a leg injury. As teams were arriving at staging, NLTFPD stated that they had enough personnel on scene (a hand-crew was in the area working on a controlled burn), and no further assets would be needed. SAR response was cancelled.

6/21/20 – Peavine Rollover

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and the SVU began responding to the N. Virginia entrance to Peavine to locate a vehicle rollover with two occupants, one trapped inside. As teams were arriving at staging, on-scene REMSA and TMFR radioed that it was code 4 and no assets were needed. SAR response was cancelled.

6/16/20 – Thomas Creek Overdue Hiker

SAR Staff, Hasty BC, and WCSAR BC responded to the Thomas Creek Trailhead to locate a subject that was a number of hours overdue. Between a Garmin Spot device, and a cellphone ping, his location was narrowed down so that a foot team was able make contact with him and guide him back to the staging location.

6/16/20 – Poeville EMS

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and the SVU assisted REMSA and TMFR with locating, packaging, and transporting an injured ATV rider above the area of Poeville on Peavine.
