SAR Staff and the SVU assisted Douglas County with the second operational period for a search involving a missing dirt biker. Ground teams and RAVEN searched multiple areas, but nothing was located. After teams returned to Reno, the subject was located, alive and well, a good distance outside of the search segments by folks out recreating in the mountains.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR assisted multiple agencies for an OIS evidence search in the Virginia Highlands.

SAR Staff, the SVU, and a Hasty medic staged at the N. Virginia entrance to Peavine to locate a subject and his dog that were stuck in a snow drift. A snowcat and side x sides were deployed, located the vehicle, and quickly extracted him from his predicament.

SAR Staff and Hasty Team BC staged at a location along Mt. Rose Highway to locate a subject that had become lost in a snowstorm while snowshoeing. Using a cell phone ping, the subject was located and warm clothes were provided. During the hike out, the subject experienced a medical episode that required additional assistance and a second team with a rescue sled was brought in. The individual was brought out and checked by NLTFPD medical personnel.
