The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Hasty Team was founded in 1971 and is an organization comprised of non-paid professionals in the Reno/Sparks, Nevada area. We are a group dedicated to our community as well as surrounding Nevada communities in an effort to save lives through Search & Rescue.
Our team is a highly trained unit specializing in Backcountry, Dive, Swiftwater, Helicopter Hoist and Technical Rope rescue. We train every Thursday evening and occasionally on weekends. We are a highly motivated and active team with a continuing desire to provide a high quality Search and Rescue service to the Washoe County community.
