SAR Staff and the Hasty Team assisted Douglas County SO and South Lake Tahoe Police with the continuing effort in locating and recovering a drowning subject from a depth of 1551′. Due to technical issues with the
ROV, the subject was not recovered.

Washoe County Search and Recovery assisted the Carson City SO in searching for evidence related to a skull that was found by mountain bike riders on the west side of Marlette Lake.

SAR Staff and dog teams from the Hasty Team continued searching likely areas in hopes of locating a missing paraglider. During the late morning, a ground team located the deceased subject approximately one mile from the glider canopy that was located on Wednesday.

SAR Staff and dog teams from the Hasty Team traveled to Eureka County to assist ECSO with locating a missing paraglider that disappeared on August 22nd. The subject’s paraglider canopy was located yesterday, so teams were concentrating in that area. Nothing was located.
