SAR Staff, swimmers, divers, and shore support once again searched an area of the Truckee River in the Wadsworth area looking for an item of interest to a recent crime.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to an area off of Red Rock Rd. to locate an injured dirt biker. TMFR and Care Flight arrived on scene first, with Care Flight transporting.

SAR Staff, the SVU, and a Hasty/REMSA medic traveled to the Black Rock Desert to attempt to locate a missing SxS and its’ driver from the previous night. The SxS was located, but the driver had walked away. After tracking his movements, he was located floundering in the playa mud about 2/3’s of a mile from the SxS. A medic and other SAR personnel attended to his medical issues and transported him to a waiting ambulance on CR34.

SAR Staff, Hasty swimmers and divers, SVU shore support, and WCSAR shore support were again tasked with attempting to locate a weapon used in a recent crime.

SAR Staff, Hasty BC, SVU, and WCSAR BC responded to the north end of Cold Springs to locate a two subjects that were in a UTV accident up in the Petersen Range. Care Flight transported one subject, while the second subject was able to get a ride with family members. SAR personnel accessed the site before the second subject had left the area to see if the SxS could be put back on its’ wheels, but due to the slope and position of the SxS, it was deemed as not being a wise decision.
