SAR Staff and the SVU responded to a request by patrol deputies to assist in transporting an injured target shooter (fell down a slope while setting a target) who was complaining of ankle injuries. At one point, Hasty BC and WCSAR BC were requested, but the subject was extracted from his location to a side x side, so BC was cancelled.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR continued to almost midnight performing fire evacuation notices to residences in the path of the fire.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR continued to perform fire evacuation efforts for the Davis Fire.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR were requested to conduct fire evacuation notices for the Davis Fire. Washoe City, St. James Village, Pleasant Valley, Callahan Ranch Rd. area, Galena, Montreux, and the north side of the Mt. Rose Highway were all in the path of the fire.

SAR Staff, Air Squadron, RAVEN, a Hasty Team medic, and the SVU responded to an area of Buffalo Meadows Rd. to search for an overdue hunter. During the day, the Air Squadron located the subject’s vehicle. As SAR Staff and the SVU were headed into the location of the vehicle, the subject’s ATV was spotted off the side of the road and down a hill, then his body was located. RAVEN was eventually used to bring in the Medical Examiner and to transport the body back to Reno.
