SAR Staff and the SVU staged at the end of Pinehaven Dr. to locate and transport two lost hikers that were not prepared for the snowstorm that enveloped the area in the late afternoon. Two tracked vehicles and side x sides were used to locate the subjects and safely transport them to staging.

SAR Staff and the SVU were requested to transport WCSO Deputies to a back-country residence off of the Mt. Rose Highway.

The SVU was requested to transport Washoe County Radio Shop Technicians to the top of Virginia Peak in order to perform maintenance on equipment.

The SVU was requested to transport WC Radio Technicians to the top of Peavine in order to refuel generators that power critical infrastructure during power outages.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and the SVU responded to a location off of Red Rock Rd. to recover a deceased subject.
