3/13/21 – Dog Valley Stranded Subjects

SAR Staff, a Hasty medic, and the SVU again responded to the Verdi area to locate a stranded family of three in a stuck side x side. As teams were arriving at staging, the subjects were able to self-extricate. SAR response was cancelled.

3/13/21 – Henness Pass Stranded Subjects

As teams were arriving at staging for the first search, dispatch received a 911 call for help from subjects – three adults and one child, stranded on Henness Pass Rd between Summit One and Summit Two. A second SVU team was diverted from the first mission to locate this group. They were located approximately 3/4 of a mile west of Summit One, walking from their vehicles. They were transported to private vehicles that were waiting at Summit One.

3/13/21 – Dog Valley Stranded Subjects

SAR Staff, a Hasty medic, and the SVU staged in Verdi to search for a family of three in a stranded side x side. The cell phone coordinates placed them in the mountains on the west side of the valley. The subjects were located at he coordinates and were extricated from their predicament. They were escorted to the main road through Dog Valley so that they could head to where they started at Bordertown.

3/7/21 – Confined Space Rescue

SAR Staff and the Hasty Team began responding to an area outside of Nixon, Nv, on the report of a subject trapped under a large dumpster. As teams were arriving in the area, TMFR was able to get the dumpster moved (she was actually wedged between the dumpster and a dirt wall) enough to be able to extricate her. SAR response was cancelled.

3/6 – 3/7/21 Lander County Mutual Aide

Two Hasty Team dog teams were sent to an area southeast of Austin, Nevada to assist with locating a missing, presumed deceased, subject. As teams were beginning their search areas on 3/7, the remains of the subject were located.
