SAR Staff and the SVU transported Washoe County Radio Shop personnel to the top of Peavine so that county radio equipment could be repaired.
SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and WCSAR responded to an area near Tahoe Meadows to locate two snowshoers that were lost in the upper part of the Incline Creek drainage. With the use of cell phone pings, back-country ground teams located the subjects and safely guided them back to staging.
SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and WCSAR responded to the Secret Harbor parking lot to locate and guide a subject that was lost due to darkness in the area of Chimney Beach. Using cell phone ping coordinates, the subject was quickly located and guided to staging.
SAR Staff, Hasty Medics, and the SVU began responding to the Sheeps Flat area on the Mt. Rose Highway to locate two snowmobilers that had become stuck below Relay Peak. As teams were beginning to go en route, the two subjects walked out to the highway. SAR response was cancelled.
SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR were assisted by TMFPD and WCSO in locating, packaging, and transporting four subjects that were involved in a rollover accident in the hills to the east of Hidden Valley.
