5/24/20 – Pinehaven EMS

SAR Staff, the SVU, WCSO Deputies, and assisted by RFD, responded to the Pinehaven entrance to Hunter Lake on the report of a subject in a vehicle with an altered state of consciousness. Two hikers had encountered the vehicle the subject was in and called 911. SAR teams, transporting WCSO Deputies, were first on scene. RFD medics accessed the site and performed a medical evaluation. The subject was transported back to staging.

5/24/20 – Evidence Search

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR assisted RPD with an evidence search in the Commercial Row area of the train tracks in relation to an on-going criminal case.

5/22/20 – Diamond Peak EMS

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR began responding to the Diamond Peak Ski Resort on a report of a mountain bike accident. As teams were en route, NLTFPD accessed the subject and declined further assistance. SAR assets were cancelled.

5/16/20 – Peavine EMS

SAR Staff and the SVU began responding to the Cold Springs Park and Ride to search for a subject in the Red Metal Mine area that had called 911 due to experiencing a medical episode while hiking. As teams were en route to staging, the subject had hiked farther down the mountain and was located by a WCSO patrol deputy. SAR response was cancelled.
