4/11/20 – Hunter Creek EMS

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and WCSAR responded to the Michael Thompson Trailhead to assist TMFPD and REMSA with a subject that had experienced a medical episode while hiking the trail to Hunter Creek Falls. With assistance, the subject was able walk back to the staging location.

4/10/20 – Missing Child

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, RAVEN, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the north side of Sun Valley to assist WCSO Deputies in searching for a missing 3yo child. After approximately 3 hours, the child was located at a relative’s house.

4/2/20 – Stuck Snowmobile

SAR Staff and the SVU responded to the Tahoe Meadows in order to locate a subject that had rolled his snowmobile below Relay Ridge, then had it end up in hole. The subject worked for a couple of hours in an attempt to get it unstuck, but was unsuccessful. With the assistance of the SVU team, the snowmobile was moved to a position where the subject could get out of the hole. The subject and all team members returned safely to staging.

4/2/20 – Vehicle Recovery

SAR Staff and the Hasty Team assisted Storey County with recovering a submerged vehicle that was located in a canal. The location was right on the Washoe County, Storey County line. Hasty divers attached the cables so that a large tow truck could bring the vehicle to dry land.
