SAR Staff and Hasty Team conducted an evidence search in the Truckee River that was related to a recent crime.
SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR began responding to the Tahoe Rim Trail, staging in Tahoe Meadows, for an injured mountain biker. Before SAR assets arrived, NLTFPD personnel located the subject and began treatment. SAR response was cancelled.
SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR were requested to stage at the Silver Knolls fire station to perform fire evacuations in the Columbia Hills subdivision, and along Red Rock Rd. due to a fast moving fire to the southwest of the area. All areas were notified within two hours of deployment.
SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the Fish Springs area to conduct fire evacuation notices to the ranches and residences in the area due to the Anderson Fire.
SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the lookout area above the intersection of SR445/446 to prepare for evacuations of Sutcliffe and surrounding beaches due to a fast moving brush fire. Due to extremely erratic fire behavior, it was deemed unsafe for SAR personnel to conduct evacuations.
