SAR Staff, the SVU, and a Hasty Team medic staged at the Lakeview entrance to the Hobart Lake area to locate three subjects that were lost, out of water, and had one e-Bike that was out of power. Using a cell phone ping, the subjects were located north of the Red House area. The subjects were given water, the bikes were strapped to side x sides, and the group was transported down to staging where they were picked up by the e-Bike rental company from Lake Tahoe.

The SVU transported a FAA inspector to the site of yesterday’s plane crash above Damonte Ranch.

SAR Staff, Hasty BC, SVU, and WCSAR BC responded to two different staging locations to search for a subject who called a relative, stating his vehicle was stuck on a road above the Floriston area. When back-country teams accessed the location, the subject was not in the vehicle. SVU personnel were then sent in from the Garson Rd. side to search for the subject while the BC teams tracked the individual. The subject was located, wet and cold, approximately five miles from his vehicle by SVU teams. He was treated for mild hypothermia and transported down to the staging location at Garson Rd. where he declined medical from TMFR.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR were requested to assist with an evidence search in the Victorian Blvd. area, related to and Officer Involved Shooting.

SAR staff, Hasty Team, and the SVU responded to the Jumbo Grade OHV staging area to assist TMFR, Care Flight, and REMSA in accessing a rollover accident involving a side x side with four occupants. Two subjects were transported by Care Flight helicopters and two were transported by ground ambulance from the staging location.
