SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the area of Patton Drive and Tripp Drive to search for evidence related to a homicide.
SAR Staff, RAVEN, and the SVU responded to an location in Hungry Valley to search for a lost subject. As teams were getting ready to leave staging, the subject was located and was not in any danger.
SAR Staff, WCSO Deputies, and the SVU staged at area near the Moon Rocks to locate a subject that had been spotted in the Dry Valley Creek area by a group of 4x4ers that were passing by. The vehicle was obviously stuck, but the subject did not acknowledge their attempts to get his attention. Teams located the subject, as did a group of other 4×4 vehicles that a family member had called to assist. The vehicle was pulled from it’s predicament, but mechanical issues prevented it from being driven from the area. The subject was transported to a SO vehicle for a ride to secure a tow.
SAR Staff and the SVU staged at Buckhorn Rd. on SR447 to locate a family of three and a dog that became stuck in the mud while driving to Ravendale. A Gerlach Deputy was unable to make it to the location due to deep mud. SVU side x sides were able to navigate the mud and snow to locate the subjects. They were transported down to staging and given a ride to a friend’s house in Empire.
SAR Staff, a Hasty medic, and the SVU responded to the Cold Springs park and ride to access two subjects in a vehicle that had slid off a road. As teams were responding to the location from staging, one of the subjects called and stated they were getting help from a relative and did not need assistance from SAR.
