SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to Chrissie Caughlin Park to search the Truckee River and nearby areas from just above the West McCarran bridge, down to the Arlington Street bridge for a possible drowning or severely hypothermic victim that entered the river during a police chase during the nighttime hours.  Negative results.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR assisted WCSO Deputies in searching for a missing and endangered subject in the vicinity of Mohawk Lane in the Horizon Hills area.  Shortly after teams were deployed, the subject was located by a SAR member near N. Virginia and Lemmon Drive.  He was evaluated by REMSA medics and transported to the hospital for mild hypothermia.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and SVU responded to the staging area of Matterhorn and Argonaught to search for a stranded subject and her 4 1/2 year old child that were stuck in an area on Hungry Mountain, east of Antelope Valley.  Although provided with accurate phone coordinates from dispatch, darkness made the task of finding the correct road to her location a bit of a challenge.  After approximately 30 minutes, teams were able to locate her vehicle, which was then extricated from its stuck location.  She was escorted safely back to staging.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, RAVEN, SVU, and WCSAR returned to the Minden/Gardnerville area to continue searching for a missing woodcutter that was last seen on 12/30/2013.  After searching for most of the day, new information that was gathered by investigators suggested that the subject was likely not in the area.  The search was suspended.

Hasty Team swimmers were requested to locate and remove stolen property that was located in the Truckee River.
