SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the hills above Spanish Springs High School to assist detectives in recovering a deceased subject that was located by hikers.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, RAVEN, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the Bordertown area to search for two lost subjects in a vehicle that was out of gas. Cell phone pings put them just inside the Nevada border on the west side of Peavine. Search teams were deployed to the area, but when the first team arrived at the coordinates, the subjects were not there. By then, RAVEN had entered the area, and approximately 15 minutes later, located the vehicle approximately six miles to the west of the original coordinates, in the area of Crystal Peak. RAVEN supplied coordinates and guided SAR teams to the location of the vehicle. Enough fuel was provided to the stranded subjects to get them back to staging, and they were escorted to the Bordertown Command Post.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the area of Spoke Road and Red Rock to search for two subjects that were reported to be missing from a roll-over auto accident that occurred during the early morning hours. After a quick foot search of the area, along with evidence that there was only the driver of the vehicle involved, the search was called off.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the Jumbo Grade OHV Trailhead to search for two subjects in a stranded vehicle. Search teams were given cell phone ping coordinates, and navigated to that location. The subjects were found in the disabled vehicle and were transported safely back to staging.

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, RAVEN, SVU, and WCSAR began responding to the Thomas Creek Trailhead off of the Mt. Rose Highway to search for a subject that was last seen on Sunday, and his vehicle was found parked at the trailhead. As teams were arriving, it was discovered that the subject was wanted by Parole and Probation, and he was known to be violent and carry firearms. The decision was made to cancel the response.

UPDATE: The subject was located at a convenience store later that evening by law enforcement.
