SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the area near McCarran Ranch Rd. in Storey County to a report of a person in the Truckee River. As SAR teams were arriving in the area, fire personnel from TMFR located and rescued the subject from a small island in the middle of the river. Further SAR response was cancelled.

SAR Staff and a K9 HRD dog team searched a section along SR447 for evidence related to a bone that was found in the area.
