6/9/24 – EMS on the Hunter Creek Trail

SAR Staff, Hasty BC, and WCSAR BC began responding to the Michael Thompson Trailhead to assist TMFR and REMSA with a hiker who had fallen and rolled an ankle. As SAR teams were arriving at staging, the subject was able to walk out with the assistance of Fire personnel. Further SAR response was cancelled.

6/8/24 – EMS Hoist

SAR Staff, RAVEN, and Hasty hoist personnel responded to a bike rider who had been impaled in the abdomen by an unknown object during a fall. The subject was hoisted and flown to a pass-off location with Care Flight.

6/5/24 – Quilici Ranch Rd. EMS

SAR Staff, Hasty BC, SVU, and WCSAR BC were requested to stage for a mountain biker who had taken a fall while riding near Deep Canyon Rd, sustaining an upper body injury. Although advised to stay on one place, he and his riding partner felt they should start walking. As teams were arriving at staging, the subject met up with TMFR where they were staged on I-80. SAR assets were cancelled.

5/28/24 – Deputy Transport for Off-Road Crash

SAR Staff and the SVU staged on Winnemucca Ranch Rd. to transport a WCSO Deputy to the scene of a SxS crash approximately 19 miles from staging. One subject was taken by Care Flight to a hospital and another subject was able to drive the damaged SxS back home.
