SAR Staff, Hasty hoist personnel, and RAVEN were requested to hoist a hiker, located by a passerby on the trail, that was having a medical episode. The subject was flown directly to Renown.
SAR Staff, Hasty BC, and the SVU staged in Hungry Valley to access a location that coordinates were showing from a PLB. Ground teams could not locate any subjects or tracks in the area of the coordinates.
Fire evacuation certified personnel traveled to the Gerlach area to perform fire evacuation notices to residences along SR447 and Smoke Creek Desert Rd.
SAR Staff and the SVU assisted Sierra County SO with the recovery of a deceased subject in the Long Valley Creek area of west Peavine.
SAR Staff, Hasty BC, and WCSAR BC staged in the area of Sky Tavern to access a lost hiker well down from the peak on the east side of the mountain. Once the subject was located, he was guided back to staging.
