1/21/2016 – Stuck Subjects on Peavine

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to the N. Virginia entrance to Peavine to locate a subject that was stuck near the top of Peavine. Once teams located the vehicle (at nearly the same location as the other three missions this season), it was discovered that three other vehicles were either stuck or assisting the vehicle that was stuck. Search teams learned that the subject from the original stuck vehicle had walked down the mountain, and contacted his wife for a ride. SAR personnel helped push the one remaining stuck vehicle out of its hole, and helped get all the vehicles turned around. All subjects were safely escorted down to staging.
