1/17/2016 – Boater in the Water

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, and SVU began responding to Pyramid Lake to assist PLPTP in locating a fisherman who had fallen out of his kayak. A PLPTP patrol vehicle located the subject approximately 150 yards off of Warrior Point. He had a PFD on, and another kayaker was with him. The PLPTP boat was able to locate the subject in very rough water, and bring him on board. They immediately went to the Warrior Point beach, and transferred the subject to a waiting Careflight helicopter.
