SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR responded to Pyramid Lake on the report of a paddle boarder who was in distress in wind and waves off of Warrior Point. Ground teams were dispatched to Warrior Point to keep a visual reference on the subject, while M10 and M20 were launched. Just after M10 was launched, the wind died down enough to allow the paddle boarder to make it to shore. Meanwhile, the Pyramid Lake SAR boat, which had started to respond earlier, had electrical issues and was in need of a tow from approximately three miles out from Pelican Point. M10 initiated the tow and safely brought the PLSAR boat to the dock.
