9/30/2016 – Injured Mountain Biker

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR began responding to the Flume Trail entrance at Tunnel Creek Station on the report of a mountain biker with a possible concussion. Before teams arrived, NLTFPD located the subject as he was coming out of the area. SAR assets were cancelled.

9/27/2016 – Overdue ATVer

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR began responding to the Moon Rocks on the report of a single ATVer that was overdue by about five hours on his trip to Lemmon Valley. As teams were traveling to staging, the subject showed up at a friend’s house. SAR assets were cancelled.

9/16/2016 – Injured Mountain Biker

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR began responding to the Tunnel Creek entrance to the Flume Trail at Incline Village for an injured mountain biker. NLTFPD personnel located the subject and was able to transport. SAR assets were cancelled.

9/15/2016 – Stranded Subject

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR began responding to a reported stuck individual in the Dog Valley area. TMFPD crews located the subject, and she did not want to have contact with law enforcement. SAR assets were cancelled.

9/15/2016 – Stranded Off-Roader

SAR Staff, Hasty Team, SVU, and WCSAR began responding to the Verdi entrance to Dog Valley for a stranded female four-wheeler. Before SAR assets arrived, TMFPD located the subject, but she refused assistance from any law enforcement agency. SAR response was cancelled.
