SAR Staff and the SVU responded to an area of of Waltham Way to search for a missing hiker in the hills to the north of I80. As search teams were arriving at the last known position, the subject was spotted hitchhiking on the freeway. He was contacted and brought to staging for a medical evaluation.

SAR Staff and metal detector teams from WCSAR responded to the Rock Blvd/Greenbrae Drive area in Sparks, NV to conduct an evidence search in a neighborhood where an officer involved shooting took place the previous day.

SAR Staff, Hasty BC, SVU, and WCSAR BC responded to Druids Lane to locate a subject in the hills that had been hiking, fell, and was reporting what he believed to be a broken leg. SAR teams quickly located the subject, rendered initial medical treatment, and transported him to a waiting ambulance.

SAR Staff, the SVU, and Air Squadron responded to the Gerlach area to search for two adults and one juvenile that were reported missing by a spouse. As teams were starting their search, the subjects got back into cell range and contacted SAR Staff. They had become stuck the previous day, spent the night in their vehicle, and were brought out by some campers that were in the same general area.

SAR Staff and the SVU responded to Red Rock Rd. to locate a subject that had been stuck in snow for five days. Tracked vehicles were used to access the site and transport the individual down to staging.
